Thurber's Reading Dog Sterling Silver Pin - Inspirational Jewelry
A sound creature in a crazy world is how James Thurber thought of dogs. One of America's greatest writers of humor, Thurber [1894-1961] was also an artist who celebrated dogs in many of his inimitable drawings and cartoons for The New Yorker magazine. His short stories, essays, fables, and drawings have been collected in over thirty books. "Thurber's Reading Dog" was originally published in 1940 in his book Fables for Our Time. It countinues to amuse in its quiet absurdity.
