This delightful cat perched upon a crescent moon has been adapted from a series of cats in an unpublished drawing by Edward Gorey. It is part of a long series of drawings about cats engaged in improbable activities. Gorey was definitely a cat lover and his drawings appeal to cat lovers as well as lovers of the charmingly absurd.
