White Ammonite Box, 180 Million Years Old, Madagascar - Actual Authentic Fossil
From our Museum Field Kit(tm) collection, this is a Genuine Natural White Ammonite Fossil approximately 180 Million Years old, that was discovered in Sakaraha Madagascar. Ammonites first appeared in the seas 415 million years ago. This species thrived from the Jurassic period until the end of the Cretaceous period when the last species of ammonites became extinct. This early direct relative of the modern nautilus can grow up to six feet long. During medieval times ammonites were believed to be petrified snakes.
Genuine Fossil(s) of either a single large or few smaller white ammonite fossils. As these are actual fossils, size, dimension and color will vary.
