This lovely pendant is adapted from a gold Sabbath ring now in the collection of The Jewish Museum, New York. In some communities it was traditional for the bridegroom to give his bride such an inscribed ring on the first Sabbath after their wedding. The saying serves as a wonderful reminder of the traditions of Judaism.
Inscribed in Hebrew: To light the candles of the Sabbath. Sterling Silver, Pendant: 5/8" long, Chain length: 18"
