Product Description

Egyptian Collection - This detail of a hieroglyphic relief spells out "Given Life, Stability and Dominion Forever." The original limestone relief, executed in a Memphite-inspired style, shows Montuhotep III wearing a ceremonial beard and the Red Crown of Lower Egypt performing a ritual dance beneath the outstretched wings of the Horus falcon. To the right, the king, now wearing a traditional "nemes" headcloth, confronts Iunyt, Goddess of the city Armant. She gives him "all life, dominion and stability... all health and happiness".

Size: Approx. 0.75"L, 0.4"W, Material: Gold Plated Pewter
